2023 Provincial Grand Masters Annual Charity Golf Day
The mists slowly cleared, the sun rose, and the magnificent Mannings Heath Golf Club was bathed in sunshine. What a glorious start to the 2023 Provincial Grand Masters Annual Charity Golf Day.
Buggies were primed, excuses were being rehearsed and score cards prepared. After a breakfast snack the Teams were briefed, the klaxon sounded, and they were off.
In addition to the Golf, participants also tried their hand or (club) at the Golf Dartboard, were offered (for a donation) Prosecco to help them on the way, play closest to the pin and to guess how many golf balls in the ice bucket.
At the end of the highly successful day all enjoyed a BBQ whilst the presentations were made. What a great fundraising and social event.
Thanks to the Provincial Fund Raising Committee who organised this fabulous day over £6000 was raised for the 2028 Sussex Festival Appeal. Sussex demonstrating the charitable nature of our Members and guests.
Plans are now underway for the 2024 Provincial Grand Masters Annual Golf Day.
